Gameplay

The goal of the game is to guess a numerical code that will free the missing Marleen. Set in Cologne in the 1950s and 1960s, a time when only analog cameras and film reels existed. Telephones were still connected to the wall with cables, and obtaining a tape recording was somewhat more complicated.
It was also a time of reawakening for the city. Cologne itself was on the move, though still under construction in many places. The Federal Garden Show, the new airport, new museums, new trams, the new opera house, and Sunday afternoon dances.

This game begins in 1957. It contains pictures from 1953-1957.

Marleen and her friends were right in the middle of this exciting time. They enjoyed living in the city, and they lived it.

Marleen is a young woman. She went eight years to elementary school. After she finished school she made a vocational training at her parents bakery. She works there, mainly she delivers the fresh backed bread on her bicyle to the clients, which are companies and privat people. She likes her job. It is simply not her dream job. She really likes to work as a photographer, which her parents do not really supports. Her brother Felix wants her to reach her goal. Marleen is very happy that she had met Karl-Heinz and with her brand new camera she is often used by Karl-Heinz to make fotos for him at his work. Whether curiosity in it is only a youthful behavior, or whether it will always be so is not clear yet. Nor does she seem to be afraid of anything. She meets a lot of her friends in the city and they have a lot of fun together.
